West Lafayette Jr-Sr High School

The West Lafayette 7th grade girls team had a dominating season opener against Southwestern beating them 32-13 in the A team game. Both teams had a solid start to the game, but the Devils took control in the second quarter leading the Cats 13-6 going into half-time. The team continued to play tough defense and had good ball movement on offense to stay in control of the game and finish strong. Leading scorer for the night was Clase with 14 points. The B team also defeated Southwestern 38-8. The teams offense led to many open layups and an easy sweep for the Devils. Leading scorer for the Devils was point guard Goldberg with 20 points.
