The 7th grade girls traveled to Wainwright Wednesday night. Both A and B teams had some close, hard fought matches. The A team found themselves in a hole early on in both sets. Thanks to Shaeah Vogt's 10 serve streak, with 4 aces, they were able to catch back up and close the gap in the first set. Unfortunately it was a little too late and they dropped the first set 25-20. Second set was a slow start but with 8 kills in the set, Ainsley Van Horn helped the Red Devils. They never gave up but just wasn't their night and lost the second set 25-22. The B team also had three very close sets. Strong serves from Lauren Flesher and Felicia Xie helped them defeat Wainwright. The scores were 25-24, 23-25, and 15-14. The Red Devils face Battle Ground Monday night at home. A team plays at 5:45pm. Last home game, hope to see you there!
