Last night, our 8th Grade volleyball team traveled to Wea Ridge and played quite a game! Our team looked amazing offensively and defensively! Our A team had some amazing hits to helped us dominate in the front row. Tabby Alexander had 7 kills. Meredith Andrews followed closely behind with 6. Isla St. Hilaire, Janice Stahelin, Lucia Warden Torres, and Emma Cline all contributed 1 or more kills. The team had 9 aces, and Emma Cline had an amazing block. The B team came back from a small deficit in the first game to win 25-23. It was an amazing comeback that showed just how tough this team is! Layla Weiner not only had some great sets, but she also played the net like crazy and had 6 kills! Princess Baah had 4 kills and one incredible block. Nolla Furry ended with 4 aces and Rowynn Asay had 3. This team is fun to watch! Want to see them in action? Come next Wednesday, Sept. 24 to the WL Middle School gym to watch them take on Wainwright at 5:45pm!
