West Lafayette dominated McCutcheon on both sides of the ball all night. Matthew Casillas set the tone early by forcing a fumble on a sack in the end zone and Connor Peters jumped on it for the first score. Korbyn Keen recorded two interceptions while Tyrel Lawson busted through for two tackles for loss. The defense scored a second touchdown in the first half when Ethan Landess picked off a Maverick pass and returned it for a touchdown. Peters added a sack and Levi Martin had a tackle for loss. Offensively, quarterback Oliver Crowell accounted for four touchdowns, three through the air and one with his feet. His favorite receiver was Elliot Omedo who caught all three touchdowns including an 80 yard catch and run. Chase Ostrom converted two, two-point conversions, one receiving and one rushing.
