9/15/25 JV Scarlet vs Clinton Prairie Location: West Lafayette Time: 6:00pm Final Score: 36-30 (West Lafayette) The Red Devils exchanged big plays with Clinton Prairie throughout the contest. Despite not having the ball but only for a few seconds in the first quarter, the Red Devils led at halftime by a score of 14-8, after a Chase Zhou 59 yard touchdown. In the second half, the Red Devils started out strong and took a large lead. The Max Smosna, Braylon Crisp connection led to multiple touchdowns, and the Red Devil defense had some huge takeaways. Alan Salazar intercepted a pass and ran it back for a pick six, and the Red Devil defensive line applied heavy pressure to the Clinton Prairie passing attack. Ira Dobson forced the Clinton Prairie quarterback to make many errant throws, leading to multiple interceptions. The Red Devil secondary and the linebacking squad battled hard throughout the game. The Red Devils will look to compete again next Monday against an all too familiar McCutcheon team.
