Last night, the 8th grade volleyball team took on the Klondike Nuggets. The A team absolutely dominated the game. This team hustled, tried some new plays and finished the game very quickly. The team was lead by Meredith Andrews and Lucia Warden Torres with 6 aces a piece. Meredith had 3 kills. Tabby Alexander had 6 kills and one block. Emma Cline had 2 amazing kills as well. The scores were 25-4, 25-9. The B team played one of their best offensive games of the season to win 25-8, 25-13. The team had a total of 21 aces!! Rowynn Asay, Nolla Furry, Marley DeWees, Layla Weiner, Princess Baah and Alexis Carroll all had aces. Nolla Furry lead the team with 7 of those aces! This team has worked so hard this season and it is really paying off! RDP! The 8th grade team takes on Wea Ridge tomorrow night at 5:45pm at Wea.
