The 7th grade WL volleyball team traveled to Central Catholic Thursday evening. It was a slow start for the Red Devils A team in the first set, which led to a 25-12 loss. The Devils tried to rally back in the second set, thanks to Evelyn Stahelin and Kerrigan Kitchel's serving, but they couldn't overcome Central Catholic's all out hustling. WL dropped set two 25-23. Shaeah Vogt had 5 kills and 1 block during the match. The B team lost their first set 25-17 but were able to pull it together and work as a team in the second set (25-23), forcing CC to a deciding third set. It was close back and forth set, but the Red Devils kept their composure and won the set/match 15-12. The team plays Klondike Monday, Sept. 15th at Klondike. Game starts at 5:45pm.
