West Lafayette clinched the west division of the Hoosier Conference with an 8-0 win over Benton Central. Izzy Ascarelli picked up the W in the circle allowing just 2 Bison hits. It took 5 innings to heat up, but big innings in the 5th and 6th allowed the Devils to walk away with the win. Ascarelli led the Red Devil offense with 3 hits. Kiersten Penquite, Adrianne Tolen, and Bree Johnson each added 2 hits. Tolen’s triple was the highlight of the night, and her 4 RBI paced the offense.
