The 8th Grade A team Lady Red Devils are undefeated so far this season and are sitting 3-0. The A team won last night by a landslide against the Tecumseh Broncos with game sets 7-25 and 13-25. Tabby Alexander finished the night with 8 kills, 1 block and 1 ace. Meredith Andrew had 3 kills and 5 aces. Janice Stahelin, Bella Garringer, Laurel Smith and Lucia Warden Torres had a combined 11 aces. The girls worked hard to hit serving spots, run some quick plays and improve their game. The B team also came in and swept Tecumseh 7-25 and 9-25. Lillian Umulis led the team with 9 aces and 5 kills. Nolla Furry, Harper Johnson, Adelyn Mathewson, Layla Weiner and Rowynn Asay all had a combined 12 aces! Theresa Pollard, Marley Dewees, Nolla Furry and Layla Weiner all had a few kills on the night. This team has shown so much improvement already in the season with knowing their defensive positions, working on serving spots, communication and boosting their confidence. We are so proud of this team!! Next week, the Red Devils take on East Tipp away Wednesday evening and then bring it home on Thursday to play against Central Catholic at 5:45PM!
