The boys and girls track and field teams competed at the Hoosier State Relays qualifier at Purdue University Thursday night. 1st place finishers were: Annie Dunford in the 3200m Run Wyatt Curl in the Pole Vault Liam Burton in the Long Jump Matthew Richardson in the Shot Put. Richardson's put of 52' 5" places him number 5th all time in West Lafayette school history. Girls 4x800 team of Joselyn Jundos, Alivia Lewis, Henny Schminke, and Shannon Dineen Girls Distance Medley Relay team of Schminke, Jundos, Dineen, and Dunford Girls 4x400 team of Jundos, Schminke, Dineen, and Molly Andrew The teams also had several 2nd place finishes including the boys 4x800 relay, the boys 4x400 relay, and the boys and girls 4x200m relays. The teams are looking to qualify for the Hoosier State Relays finals in Bloomington on March 25th. The top 24 statewide in each running event, Long Jump, and Shot Put will make the cut.
