With a first round bye and #1 Overall Seed in the WCJC 8th Grade Tournament, West Lafayette jumped to a 16-6 first quarter lead behind Kojo Steffey's 6 points and Henry Umulis 5 points and then held on to defeat a persistent Faith Christian team to advance to the WCJC Championship game, 45-36. Henry Umulis scored 17 points and Kojo Steffey added 12 points to lead the way for the Red Devils. Ash Modessit and Cody Boyle both scored 6 points in the victory.
