West Lafayette Swimming & Diving are 2-0 in on the road, with both the boys team and girls team emerging victorious in Tuesday’s away swim meet against the Lebanon Tigers. Girls Score: West Lafayette 130 – Lebanon 51 Boys Score: West Lafayette 113 – Lebanon 70 Leading in points scored this evening were a strong senior crew on the girls side with Senior Captain Chloe Chen, Senior Captain Madeline Umulis and Senior Isabel Owens scoring 12 points a piece with two individual event wins and two relay wins each. Also earning double digit points on the girls side was a strong showing from freshman Monica Chen. On the boys side, Senior Captain Lucas Arnaldo led the team in scoring with 12 points, followed by a young class of double digit scorers in sophomore Chase Jordan (10 points), freshman Thomas Glassmaker (10 points), and freshman Eric Yu (10 points). The Red Devils earned 5 of 6 relay first place finishes and dominated the individual events with 14 of 18 individual event wins. Strong showings throughout the line up also earned the Red Devils 1-2 finishes in 9 events and 1-2-3 sweeps in two additional events.
