West Lafayette Jr-Sr High School

The West Lafayette 7th grade boys basketball A team lost to Central Catholic in overtime with a final score of 31 to 34. Heading into the 4th quarter with a lead of 24-19, Central Catholic made three 3 pointers to start the quarter and held the lead until the last minute of the game. West Lafayette came back and tied the game at 28 points and had a chance to win in regulation. Max Smosna lead seven scorers with seven points. In the B game, West Lafayette cruised to a win by the final score of 37-15. West Lafayette controlled the boards and created many turnovers throughout the game. Six players found the scoring column, lead by Mert Yavuz with 12 points.
