The Red Devils strong defense in the first quarter allowed them to jump ahead 8-5. Wainwright responded in the second and took three point lead into the locker room. A balanced third gave way to a surge from West Lafayette in the fourth quarter behind six second half points by Alvin Ajayi. However, Wainwright hit an important jumper and critical free throws late to hand the Red Devils a 34-30 loss. Ajayi paced the Red Devils with ten points and added three rebounds. Mason Wright stuffed the stat columns again with six points, six rebounds and four steals. The Red Devils are now 3-6 overall. Oliver Crowell and Christian Steffey's guard play sparked the B team early and provided energy throughout as they cruised to a 29-12 victory. The Red Devils saw a balanced attack as usual, with eight different players scoring lead by Karam AbuSara and Ellis Furry with six points each. Crowell and Steffey both had five steals while Ehan Qazi added three. The B team now posts a 6-0 record on the season.
