West Lafayette Jr-Sr High School

The boys finished in 8th place out of 64 teams and the girls finished in 19th place out of 46 teams. The team performed admirably despite hot weather conditions and various students recovering from illnesses earlier in the week. It was a tough day, but we are very proud of everyone for giving their best effort and representing West Lafayette with class and pride. Congratulations to Jinsoo Choi, who earned an All State Medal coming in 25th place. He moved up to a tie for 23rd on the Top 50 boys school record list and Alex Eriksson moved up to 33rd place. For the girls, Sofie Zeng had a four second PR, with a time of 13:28.29 and Jillian Hanna had a 15 second PR at 14:40.18. On the boys side, Jude Wilcox had a 24 second PR with a time of 14:57.22 and Maximus Pynaert had a 33 second PR with a time of 15:19.08.
