West Lafayette Jr-Sr High School

For the third year in a row the West Lafayette 8th Grade Boys Basketball defended their Covington Tourney title by defeating Southmont 57-21 in the Championship game. The Red Devils jumped to an early 22-9 first quarter lead and never looked back. Henry Umulis scored 14 points and Kojo Steffey added 10 points in the victory. In the opening round, West Lafayette defeated Bismarck (IL) 54-24. Kojo Steffey had 14 points and was 7/8 from the field, Henry Umulis had 12 points, and Cody Boyle 9 points in the win.
