West Lafayette's 8th grade A team won in a tight match again Benton Central last night. They won in three sets and only be 2 in the 3rd set. Sophie Andrew and Addie Grove both finished with 5 kills a piece. The team had 5 total aces and 4 blocks. Way go to ladies!! The B team fought hard during their last match of the season, but came up short against the Bison. Together they had 9 aces, with Corinne Harris and Rose Leifsdottir both having 3 a piece. 3 kills and 1 amazing block by Rose. This team has overcame some challenges, worked hard, made tons of growth and finished their season strong. Keep working hard ladies!! Good job! The A team will be back in action for the City Tournament on Saturday, October 8th starting at 9am, at Central Catholic.
