The 8th grade volleyball team battled against Wainwright tonight and pulled out the victory for both the A and B teams. Sophie Andrew had 6 kills and 6 Aces. Addie Grove had 5 kills, 2 aces and 1 block. Aliza Khan had 7 aces to lead the team in serves. The B team worked hard and fought back to win in three sets. Corinne Harris lead the team with 6 aces and 4 kills. Yashi Varma had 4 aces. Carole-Lynn Poweleit had 2 kills. It was an exciting night watching both teams dig deep, work hard, communicate and play as a team! Congratulations on the win! The lady red devils will be back in action next Monday, Sept. 26th away against Battleground MS.
