Junior High Cross Country at Central Catholic Invitational

The Junior High boys cross country team won 1st place (of 15 teams) with a score of 28 points at the Central Catholic Invitational on Thursday evening. They were led by Ehan Qazi (1st), Archer Fry (3rd), Luca Reynolds (4th), Joe Doty (6th), Ryan Kelley (14th), Aiden Graves (22nd), and Caleb Yu (42nd). Kevin Liu ran a 14 second PR, Hale Gawthrop improved by 16 seconds, and Connor Howard set a new personal best by 17 seconds. The girls team finished 2nd place of 15 teams with a score of 68 points. The girls were led by Annah Stenberg (3rd), Natalie Cuttell (9th), Macy Fordyce (13th), Aubrey Kalb (21st), Megan Creech (22nd), Molly Mansfield (26th) and Darya Areshkina (27th). Rinah Justin Rajesh set a personal best by nearly 2 minutes and Saoirse Nelson improved her time by 1 minute and 25 seconds. Hannah Reed scored an 11 second PR and Paola Eifler ran her season's best time.
