Last night, the 8th grade volleyball A & B teams played against Wea Ridge. Both teams had exceptional games, worked together and defeated Wea in only 2 sets per game. For the A team, Addie Grove had 7 kills and 4 aces. Sophie Andrew had 4 kills and a block. Sophie Andrew and setter Emma Garringer worked together to try some quick sets that were successful. Aliza Khan lead the team with 8 serving aces. Total the A team had 15 kills, 19 aces and 2 blocks. The B team had beautiful passes and worked hard on the net. Corinne Harris lead the team with 4 kills. Yashi Varma had 6 aces. Rose Leifsdottir had a great kill on the net and worked hard on her hit approach! Total the B team had 7 kills and 14 aces. Way to go, Lady Red Devils!
