West Lafayette Jr-Sr High School

The middle school cross country team swept the Tecumseh Invite as both the boys and girls finished in first place out of 8 teams. The girls were led by Annah Stenberg (1st), Macy Fordyce (5th), Aubrey Kalb (6th), Natalie Cuttell (8th), and Megan Creech (11th) while the boys were led by Ehan Qazi (2nd), Archer Fry (3rd), Luca Reynolds (5th), Joe Doty (6th), and Ryan Kelley (11th). Ehan, Archer and Luca ran times fast enough to place on the Boys Top 50 School Record List at 30th, 45th, and 49th respectively. Dani Caviglia (12:03.6) and Caleb Yu (12:03.8), each ran huge PRs and took over two minutes off their previous bests. For the girls, Darya Areshkina (13:54.3) and Mikayla Cohen (14:39.8) ran personal bests by over two minutes each and Saoirse Nelson improved by nearly 5 minutes!
