The boys took fifth place overall in the 26-team field at the Harrison Invite on Saturday morning. The team competed well through four runners with three earning ribbons or medals in the top 35 individual finishers. Senior Elijah Stenberg set a new lifetime best (15:53) in his fourth-place finish. Elijah’s run was the eighth fastest in school history and was the first under 16:00 since 2017. Junior Albert Rajwa (20th – 16:46) hung on for a solid finish. Also setting a new lifetime best, sophomore Ryan Miloudi (30th – 17:05) competed well to put three Red Devils in the top 30. Freshman Zach Johnson (44th) continues to impress with a new lifetime best of 17:34. The pack of senior Jacob Wright (66th – 18:01), sophomore Jack Chandler (70th – 18:05), and senior Yian Koh (73rd – 18:07) ran hard a little further back in the pack. That was Jack’s second 18:05 within five days, his current personal best. Top 5 Team Scores 1. Bloomington South 78 2. Goshen 109 3. Portage 119 4. Lake Central 133 5.
