Boys XC, Stenberg win City-County championship

After a runner-up finish in 2021, the Red Devils came out on top in a tough team battle with McCutcheon and Harrison at Tuesday's City-County meet. Senior Elijah Stenberg won in 16:44 to become the individual City-County champion. The dependable duo of junior Albert Rajwa (3rd - 17:21) and sophomore Ryan Miloudi (4th - 17:22) held off McCutcheon's top runner to put three Red Devils in the top four. Sophomore Jack Chandler picked up a few crucial places on the home stretch to finish 15th overall in 18:05. Freshman Zach Johnson (19th - 18:13) continued his excellent start to the season as the team's fifth and final scorer. Seniors Jacob Wright (22nd - 18:37) and Yian Koh (24th - 18:53) rounded out the top seven.
