Ryan Budzynski led the 7th grade A team with 12 points in a hard fought victory against Battleground. In a back and forth game, Onyx Shamo made a rebound putback at the buzzer at half time for a 23 to 21 lead. Battleground stayed close in the second half as Jayson Haverstick and Andrew Pfeiffer made a free throw each to seal the victory in the last minute of the 4th quarter. The final score was 41 to 36. In the B game, Gio Pacheco led the team with 6 points in a come from behind victory. Down 13 to 7 at halftime, the West Lafayette B team turned on the defense and rebounded extremely well and held Battleground scoreless in the 4th quarter. The B team won by the final score of 22 to 18.
