West Lafayette Girls Basketball Varsity lost 57-54 to Twin Lakes. The Red Devils fell behind by as much as 22 points in the first half on a cold night shooting, but fought all the way back to tie it up at 54 on an Adrianne Tolen putback with 40 seconds to play. The Indians held for the last shot and drew the foul on an Olivia Nickerson 3 point attempt with 1.9 seconds to play. Nickerson hit all three free throws and West Lafayette's last second heave fell short. The JV played their best game of the season winning 61-19 on strong defense and hot shooting. The Devils are back in action Thursday, 12/7, at Benton Central.
