Boys Score: Red Devils 117, Bombers 50 The West Lafayette Red Devils Boys Swimming & Diving team opened their 2023-24 competition season with a win against Rensselaer at home on Tuesday, November 21. Leading the Red Devil squad was dual-event champion Lucas Arnaldo (JR). Arnaldo led the pack in the 200 Individual Medley and the 100 Breaststroke. The Red Devils also won 7 out of 12 events in total, including: - 200 Medley Relay: Chase Jordan (FR), Arnaldo, Senior Captain Ben Mariner (SR), Zheng-Chi Lee (SR) - 50 Freestyle: Lee - 100 Freestyle: Ryan Miloudi (JR) - 500 Freestyle: Jon Yang (FR) - 100 Backstroke: Chase Jordan (FR) - 400 Freestyle Relay: Lee, Jacob Cohen (SO), Lincoln Miller (JR), Arnaldo The Red Devils were strong in several events with 1-2-3 finishes in the 50 Freestyle by Lee, Yang, Cohen and the 500 Freestyle by Yang, Mukund Rao (FR), Cohen. Additionally, the team brought home 1-2 finishes in the 100 Butterfly by Mariner and Jordan) as well as the 100 Freestyle by Miloudi and Jacob Clampitt-Morales (SR). Next week the Red Devils will be on the road as we face Lebanon on Tuesday, 11/28, and Frankfort on Thursday 11/30 for our first away meets of the season. The Red Devil Divers will also travel to the Western Diving Invitational on Saturday, 12/2.
