10/12/26 West Lafayette (JV) Vs. Tipton Location: Tipton Time: 6:00pm Final Score: 44-12 (West Lafayette) The West Lafayette JV team traveled to Tipton on Monday night, and picked up right where the varsity left off. From the opening series to the final whistle, the Red Devils applied pressure on both sides of the ball, and walked off the field proudly after having scored 44 points, and limiting Tipton to only 12. The Red Devil defense, led by its defensive line, frustrated the Tipton ball carriers, and limited their progress throughout the game. Blaine Myles, Zach Cuttell, Grayson McClelland, DJ Moore, Elijah Martin, and Brendan Babcock traded off frustrating the Tipton offense, and prevented any consistent Blue Devil rhythm. Keegan Slifer, Kyson Young, and Cameron Kudelka made many stops for the Red Devil defense, as they patrolled from their linebacker positions. Cody Peters, Hayden Rose, Bryson Reames, Duke Elias, Dru Budzynski, and Ben Haverstick monitored the deeper threats from the Red Devil secondary. Offensively, the Red Devils were led by quarterback, Keegan Slifer, who found himself in the end zone multiple times. His offensive line kept him protected, and enabled numerous scoring drives. Slifer connected with many of his repeat targets (Ben Haverstick, DJ Moore, and Luke Tolen) who consistently moved the ball down the field and into the end zone. Dru Budzynski managed most of the running attack for the Red Devils, which helped open up the passing game. The Red Devils celebrated all the way back to West Lafayette, and will prepare for next week’s matchup against Hamilton Heights. RDP!
