10/5/26 West Lafayette (JV) Vs. Lafayette Central Catholic Location: West Lafayette Time: 6:00pm Final Score: 36-0 (West Lafayette) The Red Devil JV squad faced off against the Knights on Monday night, and shut them out with a score of 36-0. Keegan Slifer controlled the offensive tempo, and scampered into the end zone multiple times. He also connected with DJ Moore, as he so often has done throughout the season. Luke Tolen and Ben Haverstick also made big offensive contributions, but it was the o-line up front who made it all possible. Dru Budzynski and Kaleb Qualio were able to move the ball from the running back position because of the impressive blocking by the offensive linemen. Defensively, the Red Devils made some remarkable plays. Elijah Martin made an incredible one-handed interception, and the West Lafayette defense had four additional interceptions during the game. On the first play from scrimmage in the second half, DJ Moore caused a fumble and the Red Devils recovered for yet another takeaway. Zach Cuttell was a menace from the defensive line, and broke up a pass on 4th down, stopping another Central Catholic drive. The Red Devils will continue to build off of their successful season, and prepare for next week's game at Tipton. RDP!
