9/14/26 West Lafayette Red Devils Vs. Frontier Falcons Location: West Lafayette Time: 6:00pm Final Score: 52-0 (West Lafayette) The Red Devils put together a remarkable performance Monday evening at Gordon Straley Field. From the opening kickoff until the final buzzer, the Red Devils played impressively. It was a complete team effort, and contributions to the victorious outcome were made by everyone. After a short West Lafayette kickoff by Keegan Slifer to start the game, Duke Elias recovered the ball, and a few plays later, Chase Ostrom raced into the end zone for the first of the Red Devil scores. DJ Moore got in on the scoring action several times, as well, after catching touchdown passes from Ostrom. Mason Ersland was all over the field on both sides of the ball, and he too was the recipient of one of Ostrom's touchdown passes. Ostrom complemented his offensive performance by returning an interception for a pick six. Keegan Slifer took over the quarterback duties in the second half, and raced into the end zone for a noteworthy touchdown run. Kaleb Qualio and Weyland Doepker also had big touchdown scores for the Devils. The Red Devil defense halted nearly all efforts by the Falcons, and even when the Falcons punted, they endured great pressure. Both Ellis Furry and Blaine Myles blocked punts, putting the Red Devil offense in great positions. Grayson McClelland was unstoppable on the defensive line, and he, Myles, Furry, Zach Cuttell, Connor Owens, and Jackson Winger frustrated the Falcon offense. Cameron Kudelka, Alan Salazar, Dru Budzynksi, and Mason Ersland controlled the middle of the defense, and swarmed to the ball and solidified tackles. The Red Devil secondary prevented any significant Falcon gains and kept them out of the end zone. What an impressive Red Devil complete team effort! Let's keep the momentum going as we prepare for Logansport.
