Congratulations to Red Devil alum, Ryan Knipp (Class of 2023), on being named a 2022-23 Scholastic All-American by USA Swimming. Scholastic All-America honors are awarded to student athletes who qualify to complete in USA Swimming's Junior National Championships while holding an academic GPA of at least 3.5 during the academic year during which they qualify. In his senior season as a West Lafayette Red Devil, Knipp was a state finalist in the 200 Freestyle with a 16th place finish and the 500 Freestyle with a 9th place finish with a personal best time of 4:33.76. Knipp earned his qualification for the USA Swimming Junior National Championships in the 200 Meter Freestyle over the summer. Ryan's dedication to the sport, his team and his academic future is second-to-none! This year, he is continuing his swimming and academic career at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. We look forward to following his continued success as a Xavier Musketeer. RDP
