Last night, the 8th grade volleyball team had a tough loss against the Tecumseh Bronchos. The A team lost in 3 close sets. 18-25, 25-21, 15-9. Tecumseh's defense was a tough match for us, but our team was led by Shaeah Vogt with 11 kills and 3 aces. Her passes were on fire and her offensive hits were amazing. The B team lost in 2 close sets. 25-17, 25-18. Lennox Martin, Bethany Kaverman and Lauren Flesher led our front row well by working hard on hits, taking approaches and Lauren even got 2 blocks. Multiple players had a few aces, but ultimately Tecumseh's defense helped them get on top. The 8th Grade Red Devils play next Wednesday at East Tipp at 5:45 PM.
