West Lafayette wrapped up the regular season with a 5-0 win on the road at Benton Central. Just 9 minutes into the game Lauren Kovich crossed in a great ball that was laid off by Abby Jiminez and scored by Sarah Werth. Less than a minute later, it was Werth with the assist on the Lauren Pedley goal. In the twelfth minute, Anna Lasater crossed the ball through the box and Malavika Sujith got on the end of it to put West Lafayette up 3-0. Just minutes later, the Red Devils would tack on number 4, this time with Sujith serving in a great ball and Lauren Kovich getting on the end of it. After leading 4-0 at the half, WL would score once more 13 minutes into the second half. Sarah Werth dribbled into the box and found Lauren Pedley for her second goal of the night. WL wraps the regular season 12-1-2 and looks ahead to Sectional play next week at Kankakee Valley where they look to win a fifth consecutive title.
