WL scores 2 late goals to earn the draw against crosstown rival Harrison. After going down 0-1 early in the second half and 0-2 with just 9 minutes to play, the Red Devils dug deep to find the back of the net twice and earn the result. Malavika Sujith laid off a beautiful ball that Anna Lasater buried to bring the devils back within 1, just seconds after resuming play following the second raider goal. With just 5 minutes to play West Lafayette earned a corner kick that would lead to the tying goal. Lauren Kovich served in a beautiful corner and chaos erupted in the box. The ball pinged around several times, but ultimately found the back of the net pulling West Side even. The final four minutes proved as competitive as the first 76, with Adrianne Tolen coming up big to cut off a corner and end any Harrison hope of victory. Senior night ended sweet, with our 6 senior players and senior manager walking away with a result. Tonight marked the end of the home careers for midfielders Sarah Werth and Anna Lasater, forwards Lauren Pedley and Vivian Huston, defender Dani Rawles, goalkeeper Adrianne Tolen, and manager Cathy Wilcox.
