West Lafayette Jr-Sr High School

The Junior High cross country team swept the WCJC meet on Saturday. The boys team placed 1st with a score of 29 points. Ehan Qazi is the WCJC boys champion with a time of 10:48. Grant Johnson, Kevin Liu, Eric Yu, Caleb Bae, Linden Xiang, and Jinsoo Choi rounded out the top 7 and came home as conference champions. Lincoln Curl had the biggest PR of the day at 23 seconds and Shawn Meng ran a 15 second personal best. The girls team also placed in 1st with a score of 28 points. Aubrey Kalb and Annah Stenberg led the way with 2nd and 3rd place finishes. Katie Antalis, Claire Kelley, Macy Fordyce, Hannah Reed, and Emily Zhou rounded out the Varsity team. Emily had the largest PR for the girls at 24 seconds and Sofie Zeng, Hayune Jun, and Niamh Cameron all ran their personal best for the season.
