West Lafayette Jr-Sr High School

West Lafayette picks up the semifinal win over Tipton 4-0 to advance to the Hoosier conference final. Vivian Huston scored a brace to lead the Red Devil offense. West Lafayette had countless chances in the box, but couldn’t find the back of the net until the 32nd minute when Huston put away the rebound of a shot by Sarah Werth. Lauren Pedley started the second half with a bang, scoring off of a Malavika Sujith cross. The left side continued cooking, this time with Dylan Kastens getting the attack started. Kastens crossed in a hall that was flicked on by Pedley and put away for Hustons second goal. Kastens continued her work on the sideline, this time playing a nice through ball to Werth who slotted the cross to Lauren Kovich. Kovich put the exclamation point on the win, with an excellent one time finish. The Red Devils head to Northwestern on Saturday where they look to defend the Hoosier Conference Title.
