West Lafayette Jr-Sr High School

The Junior High cross country girls and boys teams both finished in 2nd place out of 2nd team at the City/County Meet on Tuesday. Aubrey Kalb and Annah Stenberg led the the way for the girls with 2nd and 3rd place finishes. Claire Kelley had her best race of the season with a 27 second PR and running under 13 minutes for the first time. Lucia Neal, Erica Rogers, and Hannah Stanley continued their improvement with PRs of 20, 22, and 21 seconds respectively. The boys team also finished in 2nd place of 12 teams. Ehan Qazi, Lucas Boesch, and Grant Johnson led the way with top 10 finishes. Fyodor Areshkin ran a 29 second PR with a time of 12:17.4 and Nathan Flesher ran a 54 second PR with a time of 14:51.9. The Red Devils compete at WCJC on Saturday.
