The Junior High girls cross country team won 1st place of 15 teams at the Central Catholic Invite on Thursday with a score of 79 points. Annah Stenberg led the way with a 4th place finish. Aubrey Kalb (12th), Katie Antalis (17th) and Macy Fordyce (18th) won individual medals for placing in the top 20. Claire Kelley had a 22 second PR to lead the 7th graders and Monica Chen ran her best by 33 seconds and Annie Wu had the biggest PR of the day at 43 seconds. The boys team finished in 2nd place of 17 teams with a score of 59 points. Ehan Qazi led the way with a 2nd place finish. Grant Johnson (10th), Lucas Boesch (13th), Kevin Liu (16th) and Jinsoo Choi (18th) earned top 20 medals.
