The boys and girls Junior High Cross Country teams won the Hornet Hustle Invitational on Tuesday. The boys team defeated six teams with a score of 34 points. Ehan Qazi (1st), Lucas Boesch (3rd), Grant Johnson (7th), and Eric Yu (9th) earned top ten medals for the boys. The girls team defeated five teams with a score of 21 points. Girls medals were awards to Aubrey Kalb (1st), Annah Stenberg (2nd), Macy Fordyce (5th), Katie Antalis (6th), Jayda Huang (9th), and Hayune Jun (10th). The girls JV team placed 1st out of 3 teams and was led by Erica Rogers and Lucia Neal. The boys JV team placed 2nd place of 4 teams and was led by Alex Eriksson, Caleb Kippenbrock, and Andrii Vakuliuk. Caleb, Andrii, Theo Yang, Logan Lee, and Aaron Toms were the only five Red Devils to run a PR on Tuesday as the warm temperatures and hilly course provided for a difficult race.
