In their best performance of the young season, the boys placed 4th in a strong field at the Brownsburg Invitational on Saturday. Junior Ryan Miloudi (6th) had a breakout race, recording the third fastest time in program history - 15:44.9. Ryan competed with the lead pack throughout the race and finished less than six seconds behind the eventual winner. Senior Albert Rajwa (19th) and junior Jack Chandler (26th) gave the team a nice 2-3 punch fairly far up in the 209-runner field. Sophomore Zach Johnson (59th) and freshman Luca Reynolds (69th) also recorded their top times on the season as the final two scorers. Junior Lincoln Miller made a nice jump down to 17:19 as the sixth Red Devil across the finish line. Freshmen Aiden Graves (125th), Will Springer (129th), and Ryan Kelley (138th) made the most of their first varsity races, all three setting new personal bests. Senior Daniel Schomer (141st) rounded out the top ten Red Devils on the day in his first race under 19:00 on the season. The boys are back in action next Saturday at Indiana Wesleyan University for the Wildcat Classic. The boys race will run in the Red (big school) race, starting at 10:20am.
