The boys swim & dive team capped off a great regular season with a win at home against the Western Boone Stars. The Red Devils dominated the evening, winning 11 of 12 events and putting up a final team score of 124 to Western Boone’s 62. West Lafayette was led in scoring by sophomores Eric Yu and Thomas Glassmaker, with 16 points apiece. The pair claimed four event wins between the two of them, and were also on two winning relays, with Yu winning the 200 Freestyle/100 Breaststroke combination and Glassmaker winning both the 50 and 100 Freestyle events. Rounding out top scorers for the Red Devils with double-digit points scored were freshman Reid Leeper (13pts), freshman Jaxon Ersland (11.5pts), sophomore Mile Chen (11pts), junior Chase Jordan (10.5pts) and junior Jonathan Yang (10pts). Thursday preliminaries start at 5:30 on 2/19, diving preliminaries begin at 9:00 am on Saturday 2/21 and Swimming & Diving Finals begin at 1:00 on Saturday 2/21.
