West Lafayette hosted East Tipp and dug themselves a big first half hole they couldn't recover from, losing by a final of 22-48. Isla St. Hilaire paced the Red Devils with 12 points and 3 rebounds. Lucia Warden Torres put up 8 points and recorded 4 rebounds. Defensively, Theresa Pollard brought the energy in the second half, shutting down the Trojans' top scorers while making 2 steals and pulling in 6 rebounds. West Side also saw contributions from Meredith Andrew with 5 rebounds and 5 steals. The Red Devils' are now 1-1 on the season.
