The Red Devils were back at home on Tuesday night to host the Lafayette Jefferson Bronchos. As the last co-ed regular season dual meet of the season, it was Senior Night for the Red Devils! Five seniors from the Class of 2026 celebrated their last co-ed home dual meet including Girls Senior Captains Mei Kihara and Cailyn Cho, Boys Senior Captain Jacob Cohen, as well as seniors Hazel Davis, Kexin Liu and Jessica Reingold. The Devils swept the night, winning 12 out of 12 events. Final Score: West Lafayette 122, Lafayette Jeff 64 West Lafayette was led in scoring by Senior Captain Mei Kihara and freshman Maddie Klinge, each with two individual event wins and two relay wins for a total of 16 points each. Kihara took first in the 200 Individual Medley and 100 Butterfly, while Klinge secured the top spot in the 50 Freestyle and the 100 Backstroke. Rounding out the top scorers with double-digit point totals were freshman Jayda Huang (14 points), sophomore Monica Chen (14 points), and juniors Estelle Seymour (14 points) and Natalie Cutell (12.5 points). The divers will open the competition at 5:00 on Thursday, January 15th at West Lafayette High School. Swimmers will close out the competition on Saturday, January 17th at Purdue University, starting at 12:00 pm.
