On January 13, 2026, the West Lafayette 8th Grade Boys Red Devils hosted the Twin Lakes 8th Grade Boys and delivered a strong performance on their home court. The Red Devils jumped out to a commanding lead in the first quarter and never looked back. Their fast start set the tone for the game, and by halftime West Lafayette held a 34–10 advantage. Twin Lakes’ Roosevelt squad showed resilience in the second half, battling back and outscoring the Red Devils 13–9 after the break. Despite the improved effort, the early deficit proved too much to overcome. West Lafayette secured the win with a 43–23 final score. Leading the way for the Red Devils were Keegan Slifer with 13 points, Liam Archer with 9 points, and Trey Hammac adding 8 points in the balanced scoring effort.
