The varsity girls basketball team lost to Western 40-56. Western made 15 out of 22 field goals and 5 out of 6 free throws in the first half and led 39-21. West Side battled in the 2nd half and cut the lead down to 11points but eventually lost by the final score of 40-56. Amaya St. Hilaire and Cora Loveless led the team with 10 points each, followed by Karina Clase with 9 points.
