West Lafayette A Team vs. Battle Ground Middle School Date: December 11, 2025 The West Lafayette A Team put up a strong fight Thursday night but ultimately fell to Battle Ground Middle School, 47–33. First Half: West Lafayette came out with solid energy, moving the ball well and generating good looks on offense. Despite their effort, Battle Ground held a slight edge heading into halftime, leading 19–14. Key baskets from Liam Archer and Keegan Slifer kept the Red Devils within striking distance. Second Half: After the break, West Lafayette continued to compete, but Battle Ground found a rhythm offensively and gradually extended its lead. West Lafayette battled on the boards and created scoring opportunities, but Battle Ground’s pace and outside shooting proved difficult to contain down the stretch. Top Performers: Liam Archer led West Lafayette with 10 points. Keegan Slifer added 7 points, contributing key buckets that kept the team in the game early. Despite flashes of strong effort, West Lafayette struggled to find an offensive rhythm throughout the game. The rest of the team generated good looks but had difficulty converting against Battle Ground’s pressure defense.
