West Lafayette Jr-Sr High School

After a tough loss before Thanksgiving break, the West Lafayette 7th Grade A team responded in a big way with an impressive 39-20 win over a skilled Faith West 7th Grade team. The Red Devils jumped ahead early and never looked back. They were solid offensively and defensively the entire game. The boys played unselfishly and numerous players for the Red Devils contributed to the team total of 39 points. The team was led by Kendall Williamson with 12 points, followed by Jack Strode with 9, Parker Strode with 8 and Jaxton Hysong with 3. As a team, West Lafayette was aggressive with their rebounding, collecting a total of 29 boards. Every player that checked into the game that night collected at least one rebound. The Red Devils had 11 steals during the game with Ryne Ehmke leading the way with 4. The 7th Grade A and B teams are back in action at home Thursday night.
