The Red Devils got off to a sluggish start against the Indians, but came away with a 73-39 win last night to open the IU Health Hoops Classic. The Red Devils started to get some separation in the second quarter thanks to an offensive outburst. The Red Devils were led in scoring by Drew Whitlock (17), Jaece Vogt (14), and Ben Werth (11). Calvin Snyder also came away with a double double of 10 points and 10 rebounds. Henry Umulis provided a steadying force defensively, and the Red Devils got great production off the bench from Cody Boyle and Korbyn Keen. The Red Devil JV also came away victorious beating Twin Lakes 62-18. The varsity is back in action on Friday against Lafayette Jeff at 7:30pm in the semifinals.
