West Lafayette Swim & Dive team toppled the Lebanon Tigers at their co-ed home opener. The Red Devils commanded the lead from the jump, taking the top spot on the scoreboard in 12 out of 12 events on both the boys and girls sides. The girls team defeated the Lebanon Tigers 127-42, while the boys team were similarly successful, outscoring the competition 129-54. Leading the Red Devils on the girls side was a strong trio of underclassmen in Sophomore Monica Chen and Freshmen Jayda Huang and Maddie Klinge with 16 points apiece. Four additional athletes on the girls team earned double digit point totals for the evening, including Estelle Seymour (JR), Mei Kihara (SR Captain), Natalie Cuttell (JR) and Juanita Rodriguez-Bravo (JR). On the boys side the Devils were led by sophomores Eric Yu and Thomas Glassmaker with 16 points a piece, as well as Reid Leeper (FR) and Miles Chen (SO) with 14.5 and 14 points respectively. Additional athletes earning double digit scores were Jaxon Ersland (FR) and Jacob Cohen (SR Captain).
