Mo Omonode reached the State Championship round by defeating Makhi Watts (North Central), Matthew Munoz (Jeff) and Evan Shafer (Connersville). He fell 3-2 to Reeve Munci (Carroll Fort Wayne) to capture West Lafayette’s first Runner-up in wrestling. Connor Barket captured 7th place by defeating Max Broom (HSE) before falling to Brach Carrington (GREE) and Ibrahim Khaoucha (NORT). He finished his day by beating Blake Heyerly (ADCE). Great season for both dedicated wrestlers!
