West Side’s JV Boys defeated rival Central Catholic 42-39 on Saint Valentine’s Day.
Jordan Krintz led the scoring attack with 15 points, including a perfect 6 for 6 from the free throw line during a tight second half. Conner Blankman added 13 points, mostly on drives to the rim. Jake Wright had two clutch three-pointers in the last quarter, and Divine Adeyanju grabbed 12 rebounds and blocked 3 shots.
With three games left, the team record stands at 9-9.
